I Wanna Dance with Somebody is a music biographical drama about the life and times of iconic R&B pop star, Whitney Houston.
The new biopic has great casting! Naomi Ackie, in Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, stars as the late iconic singer. Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci, who plays Clive Davis, looks spot-on as the famous music producer.
This is not the first time a biopic has been done about the talented Superstar. However, this one has the blessing of the Houston family. The biopic seems to be in good hands too! Bohemian Rhapsody writer Anthony McCarten wrote this new film. Also, Houston’s former manager and friend, music executive Clive Davis is a producer on the project.
This biopic of music legend Whitney Houston is coming soon! I Wanna Dance with Somebody hits theaters December 21.
