Sherri Sheppard Talks Collecting Checks & Equal Pay

How many of us share about our salary with our coworkers? Well, apparently this is how Sherri Sheppard says she started collecting checks that were equal to other talkshow hosts pay.

The Sherri Show host is getting very transparent about her paychecks, the power of the sisterhood and why having real and honest conversations with your colleagues is important in a new Essence article.

“Had Rosie O’Donnell not told me what she was making and what I should ask for, the salary that I would have gotten would have been so low. Because I didn’t know what I didn’t know,” she to #Essence about her O’Donnell, who preceded her on The View.
