All I want for Christmas is… the return of Mimi! And whether you’re on Santa’s naughty or nice list, everyone is gifted the full glitz and glam of the Mariah Carey experience in the new Apple TV+ special Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues.
This trailer is the first-look at the holiday spectacular, which premieres on Friday, Dec. 3…
The highly anticipated special will reveal the first and only performance by Mariah of her new single, Fall in Love at Christmas. She is joined by Grammy-nominated artist Khalid and Grammy-winning gospel legend Kirk Franklin as they bring the spirit of Christmas to fans around the world. The Queen of Christmas will also ring in the holidays with a dazzling, new rendition of fan favorite, Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
You also get to see Mariah with dem babies! Yes, her 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe will join Mama Mimi to share the family’s favorite holiday moments. In this special, Mariah also celebrates her beloved holiday classic, All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues is a follow-up to her 2020 smash hit Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special on AppleTV+ which featured Tiffany Haddish, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and Snoop Dogg.
So right about now you may be wondering how do you even get Apple TV+? I know that was my first thought as I have maxed out on streaming subscriptions and AppleTV+ just hasn’t made the cut… yet. If you are a Mariah Carey super fan, then it may be worth subscribing just for the Christmas special. The Apple streaming network is also home to the hit drama The Morning Show and the icon-driven talk series The Oprah Conversation. Apple charges a $4.99 monthly fee and if that price has got you feelin’ Emotions, then you can just try it out in their standard 7-day free trial offer that you can cancel after you get your Mariah fix.
Whether you decide to pay or enjoy the freebie, this five-octave Christmas special is sure to be full of memorable musical moments to make your holidays glow brighter this year, and to that I say… Merry Mimi Christmas, baby!
