Unexpected Duo Brings Smiles in “Here Today”

Comedian Tiffany Haddish shines bright as a star who can do it all, so it’s no wonder why comedic legend Billy Crystal wanted to get in on some of that Black Girl Magic! That’s right y’all, “She ready!” Haddish (Girls Trip) explores new levels of acting as Crystal’s co-star in Here Today.

Crystal (When Harry Met Sally, City Slickers) is back on the big screen in a huge way! The former Oscars host is pulling triple duty in his latest movie. He’s a co-writer, the director and co-star of this new dramedy.

Crystal plays Charlie Burnz, a famous TV comedy writer who has early stages of dementia and Haddish plays Emma Payge, a New York street singer whose ex-boyfriend is Charlie’s biggest fan. Their first encounter is a bit trippy, but funny.  Although their meet-up is unusual, it turns into an unexpected connection of a lifetime.

As the comedic duo settle into their roles, an entertaining experience unfolds. Crystal brings his iconic wit and Haddish brings her signature tell-it-like-it-is style of humor. Together, they bring a hilarious blend of old-school meets new-school comedy to the film. Their on-screen chemistry is everything!

Here Today is full of relatable moments. The film is funny, it’s a tear-jerker, it’s touching, warm and fuzzy. Viewers will get all “the feels!”

If you’re a moviegoer, missing the in-theater viewing vibe, you’re in luck!  There’s only one way to see this film.   Here Today is playing now ONLY in theaters.
