Simone Biles to America: Gen Z is about that life, that work-life balance!

Glow Girl Simone Biles has a mental health message for all the workaholics out there who may think being on “team no sleep” is how to succeed.

The Olympic gold medalist and most decorated gymnast in US history recently told Fortune magazine that ‘Gen Zers like herself, are thriving by moving past the mindset of ‘ let’s work work, work, work work, because that’s all we do in America.’”

You may remember that two years ago, Simone withdrew from five event finals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, citing the need to take care of her mental wellness. She is now celebrated and admired the world over for taking a stand in favor of her mental health over her career.

Have you ever taken a stand for your mental health at work? Tell us about it in the comments section.
