Well, this year, I decided to pay it forward by spreading the knowledge and partnered with local non-profit, D.C. Divas Football, Inc. and the charitable business owner of DC Tours and Transportation to empower young people in my community by donating 100+ sets of ABC flash cards and matching posters featuring diverse children to D.C.’s oldest historically Black parochial school, which was founded by African-American Catholics and formerly enslaved persons in 1858.
