Hey Coach, Don’t Block Shakira’s Glow Up

In need of need of some music motivation? Look no further than Shakira who, at 47 years old, headlined the first-ever Copa América halftime show in the United States.

“Hola Miami!,” said the “Beyonce” of Colombia, who was looking better than ever in her drippy silver metallic stage costume for her Sunday performance, which was like a SuperBowl show for soccer fans. After her performance, which nearly broke the Internet by becoming a top search for the replay video, literally no one was talking about soccer. All the chatter was about how her “amazing dance moves”hips don’t lie,” which brought a lot of positive energy to fans in the stadium and those watching at home.

But apparently, the coach for Shakira’s home country, Nestor Lorenzo, didn’t like the focus being off of the game. He said the performance was too long, against regulations and affected his players, according to CBS News.

Is Coach Lorenzo hating on all of the attention Shakira is getting, or is he right to be concerned about the game and his players? Watch her full performance below and then decide!

In the meantime, I guess you can tell where I stand based on the title of this post! But I’m open to feedback in the comments below!
