“Martin” Reunion Coming to BET+

Hey Martin fans! Wazzuuuup! Get ready to celebrate! The cast of the ‘90s hit sitcom, Martin teamed up! That’s right…Martin Lawrence (Martin Payne), Tisha Campbell (Gina), Tichina Arnold (Pam) and Carl Anthony Payne II (Cole) filmed a 30-year reunion special for BET+ on February 20.

Finally, the reunion Martin fans have been hoping for is happening! But the cast of the popular series is marking the major milestone without Thomas Mikal Ford, who played Tommy. Sadly, Ford passed away from a ruptured abdominal aneurysm in 2016 at the age of 52. The long-awaited reunion will undoubtedly capture the cast sharing heartfelt memories of their beloved co-star.

This televised Martin reunion is going to be a must-watch for loyal fans. Comedian-actor Affion Crockett will be the host. The show’s line-up includes cast interviews, special guest stars and other surprises.

Martin aired on Fox from 1992-1997. Decades later, fans can still get their fix of “Marty-Mar” and the crew in re-runs of all five seasons streaming now on BET+.

Lawrence said in a statement, “To be able to sit here 30 years later with this amazing cast that has had such an impact on pop culture is truly a blessing. I am always humbled that the fans still want more of the show and its characters. I am looking forward to the reunion special.”

Don’t miss the Martin reunion special when it streams this summer on BET+.
