Michelle Obama just keeps reinventing herself. She went from lawyer, to non-profit executive to First Lady and best-selling author to now… TV host and producer. Yes! Mrs. Obama is proving that, not only can you have one great career, you can have several!

In her latest gig, the former First Lady is starring in her newly launched children’s cooking show. The kid-friendly series called, Waffles + Mochi premiered Tuesday on Netflix.

Waffles + Mochi serves up worldwide foodie adventures to show healthy eating is fun. Mrs. Obama takes the lead role, as a supermarket owner, who’s really into gardening and fresh foods. She steps in to help puppet besties, Waffles and Mochi with their dream of becoming chefs and to get them excited about preparing healthy foods.

The former FLOTUS has always been on-board with promoting better health and nutrition for the nation’s youth. It’s her passion, and it shows in her new series.

The latest partnership between the Obamas’ Higher Ground Productions and Netflix is a win-win. Mrs. Obama’s food-centered show is a great way to get young viewers hooked on healthier eats.

“Waffles + Mochi” will stretch a child’s imagination while taking their taste buds to the next level. Adults will appreciate the guest-star appearances. Kids will like the loveable puppets, colorful scenery, the “blender” dance, and the magic flying shopping cart. But both children and adults will enjoy learning about different foods and cultures. It’s a cute cooking series the family will have fun watching together.

Waffles + Mochi is now streaming on Netflix.
