(Reposted from February 25, 2022)

Hey Glow Getters, you know we cover it all here on Glow Stream TV, so when news came this morning that President Joe Biden has fulfilled his campaign promise to choose a Black woman as his Supreme Court nominee, you just know I had to look a sister up and, of course, share what I found with you….

Judge Jackson, 51, is a native of Washington, DC.

Here are some details on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson

  • Judge Jackson would be a historic addition to the Supreme Court. If she is confirmed, she will be the first and lone African-American woman to sit on America’s highest court.
  • Judge Jackson currently serves as a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit
  • She was born in Washington, DC
  • She is 51 years old
  • She’s a Virgo (birthday is September 7, 1970)
  • She’s a Harvard Alum (undergrad and Harvard Law)
  • Her parents were public school teachers
  • She’s married and has two children
  • She was a former clerk to the Supreme Court Justice she has been nominated to replace, Justice Breyer.
    Talk about a full-circle moment!

We’ll continue to add to this list as America learns more about the new Supreme Court nominee during the confirmation process.

DM us @glowstreamtv if you know something we should add to this rundown.
