A few years ago, Parisienne Jacqueline NGO MPII saw an opportunity to share about the cool African neighborhood and Black history in Paris. So, in 2014 started Little Africa, a travel company whose mission is to promote the art and culture of Africa and its diaspora in the Île–de–France and beyond.
Jacqueline’s business has been expanding ever since her launch, even in the pandemic. Last year, she opened a brick and mortar store, a Little Africa shop, art gallery and event space. The Little Africa Village, as it is called, is a sustainable and inclusive enterprise based in Paris that is gaining worldwide with feature stories in The Los Angeles Times and Travel Noire.
