Wendy Williams Reveals Her Truth in New Lifetime Biopic and Documentary

Hey, Wendy Williams fans! How you doin’? Get ready! Lifetime is featuring the daytime talk show host in a big way! The network is airing her first biopic Wendy Williams: The Movie followed by an original documentary Wendy Williams: What A Mess! premiering Saturday, Jan. 30.

Wendy Williams: The Movie is just what “Wendy Watchers” have been waiting for. As executive producer, the outspoken television host takes us inside her personal life to get the scoop on the ups and downs she’s experienced over the years.

The made-for-TV movie highlights her notorious radio days, drug addiction, a scandalous marriage, and her rise to star status as host of her popular syndicated TV talk show.

Ciera Payton (The Oval) stars as Williams and Morocco Omari (Empire) plays Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter.

As Wendy would say, “Grab a snack and come on back!”

Lifetime keeps the drama going with an original documentary Wendy Williams: What A Mess! This time, the “queen of gossip” is in the
hot seat. Raw and unscripted, fans will get to hear Williams tell the juicy details about her life and career.

Wendy Williams: The Movie airs Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime, followed by Wendy Williams: What a Mess! at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
