Lifts me up: that’s precisely what Rihanna’s Lifts Me Up did when I heard her new single. It came as a pleasant surprise after six years of not hearing new music from her. She stepped back into the music scene and took center stage with the lead single on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

In true Glow Girl fashion, Rihanna lifts up another beloved member of the Wakanda family on this track, the late Chadwick Boseman, and it is the perfect tribute to him.

“[It] portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life,” stated Rihanna about the song.

You can not deny that Rihanna’s Lifts Me Up puts in work. It was no surprise when she made this year’s Forbes list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women. She is running a fashion and beauty empire, tackling new adventures in motherhood, and preparing for her headlining halftime performance at Super Bowl 2023.

Rihanna, you glow girl, we see you, sis! If the Lifts Me Up video of any indication of what is to come from your Super Bowl performance will be like, take my money now because it will be nothing short of perfection.

Stay tuned hopefully, she’ll announce a new album soon. And as always, please don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE, FOLLOW, and SHARE Glow Stream TV on Instagram and Facebook.
