So we are a few weeks into our exploration of crystals (here’s a refresher if you missed the Rockstars and Crystal Creativity overviews). Now that we know a bit more about crystals, where they come from, some of their healing properties, and fun ways to use them; we must take care of our lovely gems! This way they can work at their peak optimization 🙂

Clearing your Crystals!
This is like emptying out your trash can or vacuum cleaner. If you have been working with your crystals a lot (and trust me they do some heavy energy lifting for us), they need to be cleared frequently to keep them refreshed. A great way to do this is to place them on a piece of selenite. It’s 100% pure white light. You place your crystals on the selenite for 15-20 minutes, or overnight and voila!

Charging your Crystals!
This is like charging up your phone or car battery. Your crystals need a boost! If you feel like the zing is gone or the energy feels a little dull, charge it up! An awesome way to do this is to place your gems in the sun or moon light; infusing them with the different potent energy. (Just make sure to research which gems are safe to have out in the sun for periods of time.) You can line your crystals up on the window sill and let them absorb all that great energy! Or you can place them in the earth, these geodes and gems do come from Mama Earth, so putting them in your plants or back in the soil is another fab option!

Let the sunlight in on your gems!
The soil not only nourishes your crystals but can help your plants grow as well!
Back to Nature!

Keep your crystals safe! If you’re not using all of your stones, think about placing them in a satin scarf or bag to protect them from getting scratched or nicked, or designate a special area for them, and keep them spaced out and clean:)

Happy Crystals!
Nice and Clean!

Have fun exploring where to place your crystals, how they react, and which ones need a lil extra love from time to time! Remember they are there to support you! 🙂
